Defy Gravity
Another late post. The kids enjoy going to a trampoline house nearby called Defy Gravity. They have a zillion trampolines plus a foam pit and dodgeball trampoline half-pipe thing. The kids have a blast and come away very tired. Sierra and Camden decided to go their for their birthdays last October.
The kids also chose to go there this weekend as part of their reward for filling the bean jar, one of our tools for providing quick rewards and punishments. When the kids are good, they get to put beans in, when they misbehave, beans come out. When the jar is full, they get to do something big. The first time, we went to Great Wolf Lodge. This time we visited Defy Gravity plus allowed them to pick a toy at Target and went for fro yo after.

Christmas 2012
We had a great Christmas this year, keeping things low-key with no travel. We enjoyed having Grandpa here for a few days and getting together with friends at the Martins for Christmas dinner.

Eye Injury
No Labor Day at the Smith household would be complete without an injury of some type. This time around, Sierra responded to having a piece of ice dropped down the back of her pants by hurling said ice at the instigator’s eye. It was lucky for Camden that we were at a picnic with three doctors and an ophthalmic technician.
So peaceful… when asleep.

We had a great time visiting family up north over the past couple weeks. It was hard to say goodbye and we look forward to next time!
